Plant based doctor of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine

Hi, I'm Dr. Lacey Smith (she/her), and I'm a doctor of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM), and a licensed Acupuncture & Eastern Medicine Practitioner (AEMP) in Washington State, and a licensed acupuncturist and primary care provider in California. I am the owner and founder of PNW Cosmetic Acupuncture in South Seattle.

I've earned bachelor's, master's, & doctorate degrees from a few schools in various parts of California, trained at the Hospital of Acupuncture and Moxibustion in Beijing, China, and received a certificate of advance acupuncture training from the International School of Acupuncture in Beijing, China.

I completed acupuncture residencies at UCSD Cancer Center in Encinitas CA, and at the Family Recovery Center in Oceanside, CA. My doctoral work focused on mental health and seasonal affective disorder. I studied cosmetic acupuncture in San Diego, Los Angeles, Beijing, and Seattle. I am also a feng shui master, with many years of experience practicing "flying stars" feng shui. At my office in Hillman City/ Columbia City, I specialize in cosmetic acupuncture, plant-based medicine, mood support & seasonal balance.

I first moved to Seattle in 1999 and I have been enamored by this city ever since! I opened PNW Acupuncture, PLLC in 2017, and reopened as PNW Cosmetic Acupuncture (post-pandemic closure) in a new location in 2021. I am passionate about holistic beauty and healthcare, a plant based diet, and I love great vegan food! I live and work in South Seattle on Duwamish land, and share my home with my husband and two rescue dogs. I can honestly say I absolutely love what I do!
